We had a perfect storm recently with a failing sump pump in our crawlspace, improper previous setup, and a baby about be born. After reaching out to Kefficient, we were linked with Brad who has been our personal champion. He made us multiple quotes for our project to set up the crawlspace properly and fully encapsulate the space. Unfortunately with the baby coming, we did not have the budget for a full encapsulation project and ended up walking away with no solution. Brad called us back the following day with a proposal to properly set up a new sump pump with a robust drainage solution to address our immediate need. This new proposal was well within our budget, especially with the "same as cash" funding option and it has brought our family peace of mind moving forward in this new adventure. Brad came to our house for an inspection and estimate for crawl space moisture remediation. I was quite pleased with his thoroughness and careful explanation of what was needed. He was quite pleasant to deal with, and Kefficient's estimated price was far lower than the "big-name" competition for the same services. Once the approval for a home improvement permit was received at the beginning of October 2023, Kefficient began working on our crawl space remediation the very next Monday. Kefficent's owner, Mark Keffer, was on site nearly every workday to supervise the crew, update us on progress, and answer any questions. On the days he wasn't here in person, he spoke to us on the phone. The primary work crew of Ernesto, Alexander, and Delmar were professional, courteous, and extremely hard-working. They were assisted by several others on a couple of the days, including a Saturday when they all worked until 6 pm. It took a total of 7 days to complete the project, consisting of a proper drainage system with gravel trenches, pipes, 2 sump pumps, and a drain pipe exiting the house. Also the crawl space was completely encapsulated and a dehumidifier was installed, complete with duct work and vents into the first floor of our house. We were very happy with the quality of the work -- our crawl space was totally transformed! Last, considering all the work that was done, the total price of the project was very reasonable.

He took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Price was very reasonable. The men showed up when they said they would to complete the job. Very respectful of my property. Left the area in great shape. Very professional. Daniel followed up with me after the job was completed sending me pictures of the work they had done. I highly recommend this company.

Recent experience was excellent. Communication from the sales office allowed me to get the project started ahead of initial schedule. Team that did the crawl space work was on time each day and worked non-stop to get the project completed. I have nothing but positive comments on the work and the results

Kefficient did an excellent job at the best price. And the get-it-done mentality made it happen. Here are some suggestions. We had a contract in May 2023 but the contract was not fulfilled until the end of Sept 2023. Partly my vacation and partly their problem. Kefficient kept saying that VA couldn't give us the Permit until later. I complained and the Permit came the next day. They sent us the bill before they finished the task. (They finished it very well.) When they finished the task, dust was every where in the basement. We complained. They came the next day and REALLY cleaned it and it was done by a very cordial man and asst. Last they have a machine in one corner and I'm not sure of the purpose. Probably my problem but info would have been helpful And the owner was the nicest and came to visit every day except the last. All of this said, I loved their work.
